Long, Albert E. ‘Ab’ – Passed away peacefully at the IOOF Home, Barrie on Thursday, July 1, 2021 with family at his side. Albert Long at the age of 87 dear father of Nancy Musicco, Lorine (Gordon) Griffin, Anne Hutton, Wade (Kristy) Long and Steven Long. Proud grandfather of Vincenza, Taylor (Leah), Kristin, Michael (Madelyn), Colson, Charlie, Henry and Emerson great grandfather of William and Ada. Albert will also be fondly remembered by Doreen Lilley and Retha Long. Also survived by his sister Kathleen (the late Carl) Morrison and also his brother Arthur (Janette) Long.  Predeceased by his sisters Violet Long, Cora Long, Marion (the late Irvin) Silverthorne and Leone (the late Allan) Gunn and brothers Osborne Long and Edgar Long. Albert had a long career driving transport for Canadian Freightways where he was recognized for his dedication and safe driving. After his retirement Albert enjoyed time on his farm. Friends and family will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be livestreamed on Friday, July 9th, 2021 at 1 o’clock through the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89737304013?pwd=ZDV4M29iQXRZcjM4QWJzQUQzTkM2QT09

Interment Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
