Alice passed away peacefully at home on Thursday January 28, 2021,  in her 99th year. In Alice’s final moments, she was in the company of her son Bob, his wife Gale and her grandson Richard. Mum suffered a stroke which complicated other health issues consistent with old age. Born in England,  Alice came to Canada when she was very young. She completed her high school education and attended both Central Tech and Danforth Tech in Toronto, while assisting her mother in her Bakery business.  She returned to England with her parents prior to the outbreak of WWII. During the war she re-wired damaged Spitfire aircraft so as to return them to service.  She married Ron in England in 1944 . After the war they returned to Canada, a place she always loved. In 1977, she lost her husband Ron whom she was married to for 33 years. Upon her retirement she travelled extensively, many of them with her good friend Daphne Pilkington. Her travels took her through Great Britain, Western Europe and even mainland China.  Alice will be fondly remembered for her staunch determination, her work ethic and unyielding commitment to her family.  Throughout her life, Alice displayed an excellent example of humility, and was uninspired by displays of wealth.  A simple private interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. Online condolences may be sent to the Adams Funeral home,  www.adamsfuneralhome.ca
