It is with a sacred mingling of sorrow and joy that the Gaynik family of Barrie, Ontario announces the passing of their beloved Beatrice Feeanna Gaynik, into the presence of Jesus Christ, her Saviour on February 25, 2017. Born April 30, 2010, Beatrice is adored by her parents Mark and Terri Ann, and her sisters, Rachel and Ruth.  First loved by her birth mother, and her foster parents, Elly and Marg.  She is great-granddaughter to G.G. and G.G., granddaughter to Gogo, Grampie and Gramma  Sue, Nana and Paka.  She is niece to Auntie Katie, Auntie Carrie, Uncle Dennis, Auntie Gail, Auntie Jen, Uncle Brian, Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary-Lou.  Loved by Pilot, Grace, Cohen, Holly, Michelle, Brooke, Chloe, Luke, Everett and Violet.  Lovingly cared for by the doctors and nurses at Soldiers Memorial Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children.  Cherished and connected by the love of Christ to her spiritual family at Southshore Bible Church.

Though her earthly accomplishments are few for the physical limitations she experienced, through her effervescent joy, her trademark grin and the regular adventures she let her family tag along for, her eternal impact has been mighty. Bea taught her world that pain can produce beauty, that all life is precious, that God can use anyone and that we don’t need a voice to send our message to the world.

Bea spent her life being lifted and carried by the arms of those who loved her. Now, by God’s grace and provision for her, she rests in Jesus’ arms.  But from now on, she runs to them.

Beabo, we love you so much! Mommy and Daddy, Rachel and Ruth will miss you and we can’t wait to run free with you in heaven.
