Bryon Robert Mongeon (April 8 1957-Oct 1 2019)

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Bryon Mongeon who passed away peacefully at RVH Hospital, in Barrie, ON on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at the age of 62. He was surrounded by his best friend and loving wife of 39 years, Denise (Gregoire) and family. Proud father of Sarah Collins (Jason), Judy Mongeon (Brandon). Adored Gramps of Lauren and Joey Collins, and his fur babies Butterball, Chloe & Bailey.

He is predeceased by his father, Marcel Mongeon, mother, Beryl Mongeon (Annand) and Sister, Brenda Mongeon.

Bryon will be fondly remembered and lovingly missed by his sisters Marilyn (Gil), Barb (Mike), brothers Richard (Nancy), Doug, mother-in-law Ghislaine Gregoire, Sister-in-law Rachel, and brother-in-law Claude, and many immediate and extended family and friends.

He was always meticulously prepared for whatever the job, trip or event. He will be remembered for having a heart of gold and always being there to give a helping hand. He had a phenomenal memory, a tool for every job, and a place for every tool. His impact on those who crossed his path will live on; from work colleagues to those who knew him from his many adventures from James Bay to Southern Ontario.

With special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the RVH Cancer Center, the Cancer & Palliative Ward.

A celebration of life will be held at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Saturday, October 5th from 2-5 p.m. An additional celebration of life will be held in Iroquois Falls on Sunday, October 13, at the Porquis Hall, from 1-4 p.m.
