Emmanuel Juman, age 91, died of medical complications on Friday September 25, 2020, in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Emmanuel is survived by his wife, Sarojini Juman,his daughter Joanne Juman-Ramkissoon, son-in-law Rodney Ramkissoon, grandson Christopher Ramkissoon, daughter Alanna Fong, son-in-law Peter Fong and three great-grand children, Brandon, Caleb and Chloe Fong. He is preceded in death by his mother Elvina Albert and sisters Eugenia and Sheila. Emmanuel was born on December 11, 1928 in San Fernando Trinidad. He worked from the time he was 13 to early retirement at McErneny Alstons Trinidad Ltd, where he was know for his hard work and perseverance. His last position was Branch Manager, Insurance Broker. After migrating to Canada in 1987, he enjoyed his retirement, traveling, playing golf and having an active church life. Emmanuel was a social, active man who was deeply involved in caring for the community In his youth he was a boy scout. He was awarded the Silver medal, for Community Service by Prident of Trinidad and Tobago. He was the President of Junior Jaycees in the 1960’s in Trinidad and in Canada the River Park Masonic Lodge Streetsville as Master. He also served as a the member in the Presbyterian church of Canada, Presbytery. He loved competition and sports, was the president of Brighton Golf Club, Point Fortin Trinidad and continued to play at the Brae Ben senior Club in Mississauga in his later Years. He also played with a soccer league when he was young in San Fernando, Trinidad. He enjoyed singing in the choir. He sang from an early age of 7 yrs, until his hearing failed him in the last two years of his life. He sang socially with the Funlovers group at Christmas parties and events. His family and friends will always remember him as a energetic, kind thoughtful person, who was always willing to lend a hand or an ear. A funeral is scheduled for Friday October 2nd on, at St John of the Cross Roman Catholic Church.
