Woodrow, Glenn Douglas – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Douglas Woodrow on October 29, 2021 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, in his 76th year.  Glenn is deeply missed by Valerie, his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years. Adored father of Matt (Danielle) and Robin Woodrow. Proud grandfather of Breanna and Miranda Woodrow. Much loved brother of Phyllis Julian (nee Woodrow) and David Woodrow (Laurel). Predeceased by his brother, Arthur Woodrow (Linda).

Glenn will be remembered by his friends and family as a passionate, strong, enthusiastic, energetic, charismatic, proud, fun loving, kind, generous, playful, sports-minded, welcoming man who loved making people laugh and smile. He knew that life was too short to be serious all the time. He kept us laughing until the end.

His passion for sports and his enthusiasm for life allowed him to befriend several pro athletes, including his dear friends, the late Johnny Bower and the late Jean Beliveau.

He was larger than life.
