With broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Jim Stevenson at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Thursday, July 9th, 2020. Jim Stevenson at the age of 59 loving husband of Janice. Proud father of Jason, Jennifer, Mathew, Ryan and Rachel. Beloved son of Norma (the late John B.) Stevenson and brother of Peggy (Bosco) Beerworth, Anne Stevenson (Ron Taylor) and Gord Stevenson (Jody Crompton). Jim will be very fondly remembered by his uncle Grant Wallace, sisters and brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, many many friends and dedicated office staff of Stevenson Insurance Brokers. Jim had a passion for golfing and was a longtime member of the Barrie Country Club. Friends and family will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday, July 13 from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv01OP9TCdLAKuSOVIZupmQ. on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11 o’clock. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca

In accordance to directives put in place by provincial governing bodies and the Public Health Unit there will be a limit on the number of people permitted into Adams Funeral Home at one time.

Please note that wearing a facial covering and adhering to physical distancing directives is mandatory.
No gathering is permitted in the funeral home parking lot please.
