“After conquering cancer year after year and collecting a whole host of scars, Kim Martin passed away peacefully on June 22nd at the age of 60. She is survived by her husband, Ron; two sons, Colin and Aaron; and two sisters, Janet and Pam.
Growing up in Midland, Kim spent the beginning of her career in nursing before moving to Barrie and becoming the Queen of Business Furniture. Over nearly 3 decades, she worked tirelessly to support clients and coworkers, and she took pride in being held in high regard in the industry across all of North America. Kim leaves behind a legacy and a tough void to fill.
Everyone who knows Kim knows how huge her heart was and how it guided every choice she made; she radiated love and compassion, and the outpouring of grief in the wake of her death shows both how well loved she was and how dearly she will be missed.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home at 1pm; due to COVID-19 and public health measures, in-person attendance is by invitation only, and all others can watch a livestream of the service. Ron, Colin, and Aaron look forward to hosting a celebration of life at a later date when public health restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Kim’s name.“Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through
