It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Maureen Griffiths with her husband, daughter and son in-law by her side. Maureen passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Monday, July 27th 2020 at the age of 66. Maureen will forever be remembered as a devoted wife to her husband Brent, loving mother and best friend to daughter Carley, cherished mother in-law to Alejandro and daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy McFall. Maureen is preceded in death by her sister Joanne (Brian) Cunningham and survived by sister Patsy (Barry) Skitch and brother Kevin (Vivienne) McFall and sister in-law to Paul (Sharon) Griffiths, Ken (Susan) Griffiths and Jim (Yvonne) Griffiths. She is the adored and favourite “Auntie MiMi” to her many nieces and nephews and will be missed by cousins and loyal friends, too numerous to mention. Worth mentioning are Suzie Moroney, Michele and Denis Dellios, Chris Barnes & Andre Sweeney. She is a proud and dedicated, award winning Bell Canada employee for over 30 years. Avid travellers, Maureen and Brent experienced walking the Great Wall of China, touring southeast Asia, an African safari, cooking classes in Tuscany, Alaskan and Caribbean cruises, summers in Moody Beach and winters in Puerto Vallarta. Maureen illuminated every room she entered. She had a beautiful spirit, generous heart, contagious laugh and everyone she met was the better for it. Maureen maintained her grace, charm and wicked sense of humor to the end. A private family service will take place due to the current COVID circumstances. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Maureen would be appreciated by the family. Messages and favorite stories may be forwarded to the family through
