Docherty, Thomas Richard “Doc”

 

Passed away peacefully at home with his daughter Sydney holding his hand on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, ending his courageous fight with cancer at age 61.

 

He is survived by his mother Maureen Docherty, and brother Alex Docherty. He will be missed terribly by his children Sydney Docherty, Beau Fraser, Brady O’Hanley, Willam Tennant, Holly Elvins and his grandson Brady O’Hanley Jr. Tom also will be missed by his extended family and friends.

 

The Visitation will be held at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St Vincent Street, Barrie, Ontario) on Thursday, November 25th, 2021 and take place over two allotted time slots:

 

Guests who arrive from 3 – 5 p.m. will not require proof of vaccination and social distancing will be in effect.

 

Guests who arrive from 7 – 9 p.m. will require proof of vaccination and photo identification.

 

The Funeral Service will be held at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St Vincent Street, Barrie, Ontario) on Friday, November 26th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. and will require proof of vaccination and photo identification.

 

In accordance with directives put in place by provincial governing bodies and the Public Health Unit facial coverings and adherence to the rules outlined above for each time slot are mandatory.
